Bridge Street in New Iberia Reduced to One Lane

Bridge St. (La 86 in New Iberia at the Bayou Teche Duperior St. Bridge, East of East Main St. (La. 182) will be reduced to one lane, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm while bridge crews repair bridge elements.
This closure will allow vehicles 15-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic, but oversize vehicles must detour using La 182 and La 87.
