Mostly cloudy, breezy and warm weather is expected for Acadiana Monday along with a few widely scattered showers ahead of a fizzling cool front.
Temperatures will likely reach the upper 70s with a few inland spots possible reaching 80F.
The weak cool front will push in briefly drier and slightly cooler weather Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures still reaching the mid-70s.
The forecast becomes unsettled for the rest of the week as a weak warm front advances northward Wednesday engendering clouds along with the chance of scattered showers Wednesday and Thursday.
A stronger front should arrive late Friday yielding a good chance of showers and storms either late in the day or into Friday night.
Breezy and cooler conditions along with mostly sunny skies are anticipated for next weekend.
