Breaux Bridge business heavily damaged in fire

Fire heavily damaged J.W. Quality Meats and Smokehouse at 544 Latiolais Street in Breaux Bridge this morning. Twenty firefighters from the Breaux Bridge, Henderson, Arnaudville and Fire District got the fire under control in about 30 minutes. Fire crews remained on scene for an additional hour putting out hot spots. The fire started while cooking cracklin. No one was hurt.
