Both Iberia Parish crash victims to be laid to rest Saturday in separate burials

Two Iberia Parish Public Works Department co-workers will be laid to rest tomorrow in separate burial services.

The two Iberia employees were struck by a vehicle while they were working on US 90.

The visitation for Ross Patrick Migues began Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia at 3:00 p.m. and lasts until 9:00 p.m. The visitation resumes again on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The burial service will begin immediately following the Saturday visitation. Migues will be laid to rest in Delcambre.

Visitation for Jody Joseph Anthony, Sr., also will be observed Saturday at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 201 Gary St. In St. Martinville from 7:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. during the visitation. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Augustinus Seran. The internment will proceed afterward at nearby Queen of Peace Cemetery in Saint Martinville.
