BENTON, La. (AP) Bossier Parish Sheriff Larry Deen says a body found in Red Chute Bayou has been identified as that of a woman reported missing since March 3.

Deen says the coroner's office used dental records to identify the victim, 39-year-old Nancy Sue Miller of Haughton.

Fishermen spotted the body Thursday floating face down in a tangle of brush just south of the U.S. Highway 80 bridge over the bayou.

Deen says a cause of death has not been released.
