Boil Advisory for Grand Coteau

Grand Coteau Water System customers are asked to boil their water effective immediately. The system experienced a line break which caused a loss in pressure in the distribution system.
Because of the problems the water produced is of questionable microbiological quality.
It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it, using it for brushing teeth or rinsing foods.
Before use, boil water for one full minute in a clean container.
The boil advisory will be rescinded once water samples collected from the water supply have shown the water to be safe.
