Bogalusa shooting kills 1

BOGALUSA, La. (AP) - A Bogalusa man was shot and killed in what Bogalusa Police Chief Joe Culpepper called "an apparent home invasion/murder" at a residence early Friday.
Culpepper told The Daily News that the department received a call about the incident at about 2 a.m. and found 24-year-old Rico McGowan shot at the scene. Further details were not available.
Culpepper says the incident remains under investigation.
