A man reported missing after leaving a Breaux Bridge casino, has been found dead.
At approximately 11:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, a resident cutting grass on Seafood Lane in Lafayette, called in a report of a body that was located in the Vermilion River. He was found near the Lafayette-St. Martin Parish line.
Authorities recovered the body and have identified it as Bobby Lindsey,32, of Breaux Bridge.
Lindsey was last seen Monday night at a Breaux Bridge casino on La. 94 in St. Martin Parish. He was wearing a light color shirt with long pants. He left on foot.
An autopsy will be performed Thursday to determine the cause of death.
