Body of Missing Boater Found

The body of a Baton Rouge firefighter who went missing three weeks ago while boating at Belle River has been found. According to Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack, the remains of Jacob Lewis were found around noon about two miles from where he was last seen. Lewis fell into the river on January 31 while trying to hitch his boat to a truck. Waguespack says Lewis ID was found on the body, and the clothes matched the description of what Lewis wore the day he went missing.
