Body of man found in Sabine River

MERRYVILLE, La. (AP) - The body of a DeRidder man who was reported missing on Monday has been found in the Sabine River.
Beauregard Parish Chief Deputy Joe Toler tells The Town Talk the body of 20-year-old Dionte Rashal was found around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by divers near the Merryville boat launch.
Toler says Rashal was swimming in the river Monday near the boat launch and became separated from friends.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
