Hours after reporting him missing, Deputies discover the body of Breaux Bridge man along the banks of the Vermilion River.
Deputies have identified him as 32-year-old Bobby Lindsey.
He was found right on the parish line between St. Martin Parish and Lafayette Parish.
Deputies in St. Martin were investigating the missing person's case and now Lafayette Deputies are looking into his death.
Eye-witnesses say a boater was in the river near Seafood Lane in Lafayette Parish when he found Lindsey floating in the water just before noon Wednesday morning.
St. Martin Parish Deputies say he was last seen leaving the Breaux Bridge casino on LA-94. Customers say Lindsey was a regular there and the casino is only about 10-yards from the Vermilion River.
Lafayette deputies say there doesn't appear to be any foul-play involved but they'll conduct an autopsy on Thursday to decide the exact cause of death.
