JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - A body found at the Jackson city limits is believed to be that of a Louisiana man.
The remains were discovered Sunday afternoon, lying on the ground in a rural area. Nearby was a red Honda with Louisiana license plates.
The Jackson Sun quoted a news release from authorities on Monday in reporting Jackson Police and the Madison County Sheriff's Office were investigating and that the body had been sent to Nashville for autopsy.
Authorities didn't release the man's name or say whether his identity matched any missing person report.
