BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police are investigating the death of a Baker man, whose body was found in the trunk of his car.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely says police arrested 19-year-old Damarcos Gross early Friday morning in the death of 27-year-old Clifton Earl Walker III.
Police found Walker in the trunk of his vehicle at 9:44 a.m. Thursday after receiving a call about a "suspicious vehicle" in the parking lot of a beauty salon.
McKneely says Walker had "noticeable trauma to his head," from possibly being hit by a car.
East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Beau Clark said his office was conducting an autopsy on Walker to determine a cause of death.
Gross was booked with one count each of accessory to first-degree murder, arson and felony theft.
