KENNER, La. (AP) - Kenner police say a body found floating in the Mississippi River has been identified as that of a missing 39-year-old Boutte (boo-TAY') man.
Sgt. Brian McGregor says that Ronald Miller Sr. was reported missing on Dec. 28.
McGregor says a barge operator called the Coast Guard on Wednesday to report seeing a body floating in the river.
He says authorities identified Miller through tattoos.
The Jefferson Parish coroner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
