A blimp expert will lead a discussion Tuesday on the Houma naval air station's role during World War II.
Richard Van Treuren, who is a Navy veteran, will address the Military Roundtable Discussion Group during a free public session at Houma's main library.
The Courier reports the discussion will begin at 6 p.m.
On display will be records, news articles, photographs and artifacts from the war years.
The base was used for blimp patrols against German submarines in the Gulf of Mexico.
