Conditions have been improving over the last 24 hours as the front cleared Acadiana early Sunday morning, after providing a few showers and thunderstorms.
Cold air will begin filtering in Sunday night and there will be a noticeable chill in the air for the beginning of the work week, with highs staying in the mid to upper 50s on Monday.
A stiff breeze from the north will also be setting up for Monday and will team up with a lack of sunshine to add to the chilly scenario.
These conditions, however, will be short lived as we start getting in much warmer and drier air across Acadiana.
Temperatures bounce back nicely with plenty of sunshine for the middle part of the week, and we will get a nice round of beautiful spring time weather.
