Bishop Named Vice Chair of House Natural Resources Committee

A Lafayette state representative is the new vice chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee. Rep. Stuart Bishop, a republican representing House District 43, was named to the position today. This move comes less than a week after Rep. Jim Morris (R-Oil City) was removed from the post by House Speaker Chuck Kleckley. Morris was a vocal critic of Governor Bobby Jindal's budget proposals.
