Bishop Mike Jarrell sends statement about LGBT minor at UL Lafayette

Lafayette Diocese Bishop Michael Jarrell released a statement on the new LGBT minor at UL Lafayette. "Our concern is that the establishment of the LGBT minor gives the appearance of crossing the line from legitimate scientific inquiry into an advocacy of lifestyles discordant with human dignity integrally considered."
In his statement, the Bishop said that Catholic teaching about the issue of homosexuality has been clearly elaborated, most especially in the "Catechism of the Catholic Church," numbers 2357-2359.
