Bishop Guillory, lawyer Jones join Xavier board

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Xavier University in New Orleans has two new members on its governing board.
According to a release from the university, the Catholic bishop of Beaumont, Texas, Curtis John Guillory is joining the board, along with New Orleans attorney Gladstone Jones III.
Guillory previously served on the Xavier board from 1997 to 2002. His other ties to New Orleans include his nine years as an associate and pastor of St. Augustine Parish.
Jones is founder and senior managing partner in the New Orleans' law firm of Jones, Swanson, Huddell & Garrison.
Rotating off of the Xavier board after serving three terms is Mary Zervigon.
