Bill Leger Fomer KATC News Anchor Dies in Automobile Accident

Bill Leger, former KATC Channel 3 news anchor died in an automobile accident Saturday morning near Scott. He is currently the news anchor at KFDM Channel 6 in Beaumont, Texas.
Leger is a graduate of Kinder High School. He attended LSUE and graduated from LSU Baton Rouge with a major in broadcast journalism. He also worked at KSIG in Crowley and KEUN and KJJB in Eunice.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Leger; daughters, Tatum and Victoria; parents, Stanley and Kathryn Leger; sister, Rita Leger Rush and husband, Jason Rush.
