Breaux Bridge Bicyclist In Critical Condition After Being Hit

Troop I is currently investigating a critical injury crash which occurred on La 354 south of I-10. A bicyclist traveling southbound on La 354 was hit from behind by a Toyota Camry. The cyclist was transported to Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette and is listed in critical condition.

The driver was identified as Andrew Arnaud (W/M/25 yoa) of Breaux Bridge, La. Arnaud has been charged with Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
