Beyond Classes: T.H. Harris Educates and Serves Community with Free Clinic

South Louisiana Community College's T.H. Harris campus is melding education and community collaboration with a free workshop. The Diesel Powered Equipment Technology department is inviting the community, especially shops that service trucks and school buses, to a Heavy Duty Clutch Installation Clinic sponsored by ACE Clutch Manufacturing & Crow Burlingame.
The free clinic will include discussions, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations of diagnosing clutch failures and techniques for installing the technology. Local businesses can benefit from the no-cost professional development, while students can learn new techniques and network with attending companies.
