The Better Business Bureau is warning computer owners about an issue with Internet Explorer 8 that could put your computer at risk. In a press release, the BBB said the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a cyber security advisory about Microsoft's web browser. That advisory says a vulnerability in Internet Explorer 8 that could allow a scammer or other attacker to access and take over a user's computer.
Microsoft has released a temporary fix for the problem. It can be accessed by clicking here. Computer owners are reminded that the problem affects only Internet Explorer 8. Older versions of the browser are not affected.
