BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge is set this week to launch a new high-tech community mapping tool, providing the public easier access to data ranging from locations of public services, including libraries and bus stops, to area demographics.
The Advocate reports the City Key website, which will be launched Wednesday, was developed by city, parish and state officials.
Backers said the site will provide a tool for community organizations and government agencies to access data that can aid their efforts and encourage community interaction in Baton Rouge neighborhoods.
