Baton Rouge recycling worker killed

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police say a recycling company employee died on the job after falling off a truck and being run over.
Police spokesman Cpl. L'Jean McKneely Jr. says the driver of a recycling truck accidentally backed over 39-year-old Kerien Dennis.
McKneely says Dennis was clinging to the rear of the backward moving truck while giving the driver directions.
At some point, McKneely says Dennis fell off the truck's rear platform and got caught under a wheel. He was pronounced dead a the scene.
Dennis was an employee of Recycling Foundation of Baton Rouge.
McKneely says the truck's driver submitted to a breathalyzer
test and was not ticketed.
