Baton Rouge Man Arrested for Rayne Robbery

A Baton Rouge man was arrested for simple robbery in Rayne.
On December 17, 2010, at 5:12 p.m., the Rayne Police Department responded to the Dollar General Store, 101 E Louisiana Avenue, in response to reports of
a black male who reached across the counter and removed money from the cash register before fleeing the store.
At 8:02 p.m., Rayne Police Officers arrested Joenell Williams (45) of Baton Rouge who is currently on parole out of Baton Rouge, LA for other felony offenses.
Williams was booked into the Rayne Police Department with a $30,000 bond.
