Bank robber sentenced to prison

NEW ORLEANS (AP) A New Orleans man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for robbing a New Orleans bank last year.
U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan sentenced 47-year-old Steven Lyle Fickes to 51 months in prison Wednesday and also ordered him to pay $4,480 in restitution.
Fickes pleaded guilty to robbing a Capital One bank branch in July 2008. Police arrested him as he ran from the bank.
Federal prosecutors say Fickes also admitted he robbed a Metairie Bank branch in May 2008.
