BALL, La. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a suspect in the March 6 robbery of the Capital One Bank branch in Ball.
Rapides Parish Sheriff Chuck Wagner tells The Town Talk Stephen Paul Kent of Ball was arrested Tuesday and booked with simple robbery and possession of controlled dangerous substance II.
According to witnesses on the scene and surveillance footage, a man approached the teller and handed her a note saying he was robbing the bank and to give him money. The clerk gave the robber money, and the robber left the scene.
Kent was booked into the Rapides Parish Jail.
