Sheriff Bobby Guidroz sent detectives to the autopsy of Andrus Rideau whose body was discovered by the Sheriff himself.
There were no signs of blunt force, lacerations, or gunshots wounds. They are now waiting on toxicology results. This case remains under investigation as a suspicious death.
One of the persons of interests was killed in Houston over the weekend.
A man's body was discovered in Bayou Courtabalu and his death is being called suspicious.
Ironically, it was the sheriff himself who found the dead man.
The body was floating in the water among shrubs and branches.
"One of the children saw it and we turned around and it was among some shrubs so i dropped the kids off and got search and rescue and we recovered the body of a man who'd been reported missing in Washington, a black male, Andrus Rideau, born in 1985."
The dead man has been identified as 25 year old Andrus Rideau. The sheriff won't say how he died, but his investigators have a few leads and names of people to be questioned.
There is no word on how long Andrus was in the water but the sheriff says the body was decomposing.
