Evangeline CAN is focused on bettering the lives of those affected by autism through education, support, public awareness, and peer group activities. Our efforts are to support those affected here, locally, in Evangeline Parish. To date, 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with autism. Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. ASDs are "spectrum disorders" affecting each person in a different way.
Evangeline CAN is actively in search of business sponsors for this special event. Benefits may include name recognition on the Walk shirts, vendor booth space, and live advertising at the event.
For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Walk for Autism Committee Chairperson, Jenn Meylian at (337)336-0053. Registration information to become available in the near future.
