Guidelines and application forms are now available for the Autism Society Acadiana's 2013 Mini-Grant Program. This valuable program provides funding to educators and professionals who work with students with autism spectrum disorders in public and private school settings in the parishes of Acadia, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion.
Completed applications must be received by December 1, 2013 to be eligible for funding.
Homeschooling programs are not eligible to submit an application. Grants range in size between $100 and $500, but larger grants will be considered. No single application by an individual or group may exceed $1000.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee consisting of parents and professionals who are members of the Autism Society Acadiana.
The 2013 Mini-Grant Application and Mini-Grant Guidelines can be found on the Autism Society Acadiana website, www.AcadianaAutism.org, under the Get Involved tab.
