Authorities searching for a man who fled from police

Lafayette deputies along with Duson police officers are searching for a man near Burke Elementary,on Ridge Road. According to authorities, the man was driving a stolen vehicle and when Duson police officers tried to pull him over, the suspect sped off. After a short pursuit, police say the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran away. We have a crew on the way.
