LAFAYETTE, La. - Chad Judice, author of "Waiting for Eli" and "Eli's Reach," will tell his moving pro-life story starting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 16 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 518 Roselawn Blvd., in Lafayette.
The public is invited to attend.
Mr. Judice's talk is augmented by an audio-visual presentation that includes music, family photos and passages from the Scriptures.
The story begins when Eli-the unborn son of Chad and Ashley Judice-is diagnosed in the womb with a dreaded birth defect called spina bifida. The parents were faced with the troubling question of whether to abort the baby or continue with the pregnancy.
The medical literature indicates that 80 percent of parents in the U.S. who are informed of this diagnosis choose abortion. But the Judices did not want to be in that number.
Mr. Judice, a teacher at St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette, will sell and sign his books following the presentation.
