Lafayette Parish Schools Superintendent Pat Cooper sent a robo-call to parents Thursday night to address ongoing controversies at the school board.
The recorded messaged followed a 20 minute school board meeting, which addressed payment to a health care consultant. The board unanimously decided not to pay the consultant. The board also chose not to address allegations made by some board members that the consultant tried to bribe them with Saints tickets ahead of a vote.
