Attorney Willie E. Gary to lead Black History Parade

Attorney Willie E. Gary, ABC's Person of the Week, to lead the African American History Parade in Lafayette.

Attorney Willie E. Gary earned his reputation as "The Giant Killer" by taking down some of America's most well-known corporate giants on behalf of his clients. He has won some of the largest jury awards and settlements in U.S. history, including more than 150 cases valued in excess of $1 million each. will serve as one of the parade marshals for the 10th annual African American History Parade. The parade is scheduled for February 24, 2013.

The parade is scheduled for February 24th at 2:00 pm and will travel down Martin Luther King Memorial Expressway (Willow) Street. The parade will consist of motorcycle riders, antique cars, dancing troops, marching troops, marching bands and floats. The parade theme is "And Still I Rise."
