Attorney General Charges Man with 100 Counts of Child Porn

A Denham Springs man is in jail on $10 million bond after being arrested on 100 counts of child pornography. The State Attorney General's Office says 49-year-old Marvin Thorton was busted following a joint investigation with Louisiana Probation and Parole and the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. Thorton, who is currently on probation for an obscenity conviction, could spend the rest of his life in jail if convicted, as each count carries a possible 20-year jail sentence.
