Attempted Murder Suspect Extradited to Lafayette

The suspect accused of shooting restaurant manager Yousef Balbeisi during a July home invasion has been extradited to Lafayette. Christopher Wilson was booked Tuesday into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. Wilson was arrested by U. S. Marshals in Houma last week on a warrant for attempted first-degree murder. Bond on the attempted murder charge is $200,000, but he is being held without bond on a bench warrant.
