"Our officers received a call in reference to a disturbance where two subjects were in the parking lot of a local hotel with firearms. As officers arrived in the area, they located the vehicle described as being involved in the incident leaving the area" stated Chief K.P. Gibson.
Gibson said that, when officers arrived to the scene, they were able to maintain visual contact with the suspects' fleeing vehicle and then stop it. The four seized weapons were in the vehicle.
"The officers did a good job by locating the vehicle and confirming that the vehicle matched the suspect vehicle before stopping them. By using good teamwork, the officers were able to make the arrest without putting themselves or our citizens in great danger" stated Chief Gibson.
