Assumption Parish Bar Shooting

THIBODAUX, La. (AP) - Assumption Parish authorities say a man
shot his estranged wife several times then turned the gun on
himself.
It happened Sunday morning at a bar in Assumption Parish,
according to a report in The Daily Comet of Thibodaux.
Police said 50-year-old Gary Leblanc of Napoleonville allegedly
walked into the Lakeview Inn Bar and shot 44-year-old Jennifer
Leblanc, also of Napoleonville, mulitple times before shooting
himself. There was no information available on either person's
condition.
Jennifer Leblanc had obtained a protective order against her
estranged husband in January, the newspaper said.
