CROWLEY, La. - The ASSIST Agency in Crowley donated excess used computers it had received from an oilfield service company to Proyecto Hispano in Lafayette.
Proyecto Hispano is a non-profit Hispanic organization that helps Hispanics in the community find jobs and apartments and with social, health and education issues.
The organization plans on using the computers to train people to find jobs and to use them with the EITC Tax program because so many in the Hispanic community are paying high fees to have their taxes done.
