A man has been arrested in connection with the case of "Boz," the hunting dog who died in a dog fight. We're waiting on more details from Lafayette police, but we know the man who was arrested is charged with burglary. He's accused of removing items from a truck belonging to a father and son who were passing through Lafayette on their way home to Georgia from a hunting trip. Police say he broke into the truck, and in doing so, Boz escaped from a mounted dog box on the truck. The following day Boz was found badly injured from a dog fight and was euthanized at the Lafayette Animal Control Center.
Police say it wasn't the suspect's intent for the dog to be injured or to end up dead. We'll know shortly the man accused of breaking into the Arthur's vehicle.
