A suspect in the July 2012 fatal shooting at a Grand Marais night club is now behind bars.
Twenty-year-old Wendall Hines is charged with the second-degree murder. Hines was arrested at his Four Corners home last night by St. Mary Parish sheriff's deputies.
Investigators say Hines shot and killed 22-year-old Harold Defils in the parking lot of the Mon Ami reception hall on US 90. Deputies say an argument inside the club led to the shooting.
Two other people were shot. One was wounded in the hand, while the other was struck in the thigh.
