Arrest in Saturday Murder in Lafayette

A Lafayette man is in jail charged with first degree murder. Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department arrested Kenneth Batiste, 25.
Investigators with the Lafayette Police Department have identified the victim in Saturday's shooting as Randall Joseph Clemon, 45 of Lafayette.
Clemons was found lying next to his vehicle on a parking lot at 305 Vieux Orleans with multiple gunshot wounds.
Information and evidence indicates that the motive for the shooting is believed to be drug related.
