Arnaudville Crash Leaves One Man in Critical Condition

An Arnaudville man is in critical condition following a late night crash. Saturday night at approximately 9:20pm, St. Martin Parish Deputies responded to the 1100 Block of Simon Angelle Road in reference to a report of a vehicle crash. The single vehicle was traveling eastbound on Simon Angelle when the vehicle left the roadway and began to overturn. The vehicle came to rest off of the roadway. It was learned that the driver and sole occupant was ejected from the vehicle. The driver, who was identified as Matthew Latiolais, 21, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
