Armed Robbery Turned Murder in Ville Platte

A murder investigation underway in Ville Platte.

According to Evangeline Today.com http://evangelinetoday.com/view/full_story/13167848/article-Robbery-turned-shooting-claims-the-life-of-one?instance=home_news_lead it all started with an armed robbery at a nail salon on West Main Street Friday night. The paper reports a man broke into the business and fired several shots, hitting the store owner who later died.

No arrests in the case, but anyone with information is urged to call Ville Platte Police.
