Arkansas man gets 50 years in child porn case

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - A 60-year-old man has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for the production of child pornography.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley says Daniel Eugene Burris, of Huntsville, Ark., was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Dee D. Drell of Alexandria. In addition, Drell sentenced Burris to a lifetime of supervised release.

Finley says a search warrant was executed on Burris' residence after it was determined that he had been downloading child pornography using Limewire. Investigators then found a computer and computer storage devices that contained child pornography.

She says Burris admitted he had been obtaining the child pornography and molesting a then 2-year-old girl in Louisiana. Burris also confessed to videotaping the molestation.
