Plenty of moisture hanging around in the atmosphere for the start of the work week so humidity will be uncomfortable once again.
By mid July, however, this is nothing new and the rest of Monday's forecast will be typical for the summer time.
Expect pop up showers to start firing up around lunch time and continue through into the afternoon and early evening.
Temperatures will be back into the 90s but the heat index should avoid triple digits, but don't worry plenty of heat to go around.
Big changes enter the forecast as a cold front approaches the area and will keep the weather unsettled for the remainder of the week.
Looks like the rain chances will really pick up starting Tuesday afternoon as the front sweeps through before eventually stalling just offshore.
As the ridge behind it begins to weaken it could allow the front to back up on itself which will keep rain in the forecast for the majority of the week.
The way things are shaping up as of Sunday, it looks like the area could see anywhere from 1-2" of rain through the middle of the week.
As always there will be locally higher and lower amounts, and the totals may be adjusted depending on the evolution of the front.
