Nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for PACT United funding!
United Way of Acadiana invites nonprofit organizations to be part of the PACT (Plan of Action for Community Transformation) in 2013.
On Monday, October 1st, nonprofit organizations in Acadia, Lafayette, St. Martin and Vermilion parishes can begin submitting Request for Proposals (RFP) applications online at www.UnitedWayofAcadiana.org In support of the PACT United, which invests donations in three different issue areas, United Way of Acadiana will accept proposals from nonprofit organizations within its service area that address the following: 1. Education: Helping children graduate from high school. 2. Earnings: Helping families and individuals become financially stable. 3. Essentials: Helping people meet their basic needs. Organizations submitting a proposal must have an IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt status, outline programs that work with target populations to achieve identified long-term goals and be able to demonstrate the ability to implement and evaluate programmatic outcomes.
All interested applicants can access and complete the RFP and application on our website at www.UnitedWayofAcadiana.org. Proposals are to be submitted electronically to United Way of Acadiana no later than 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Funding is open to all qualified nonprofits. United Way of Acadiana will offer FREE Proposal and Logic Model Workshops to help organizations with the application process for 2013 program funding. Workshops dates, times and locations are TBD.
