SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the murder conviction of a Minden woman who killed a Barksdale airman.
The Times reports a state District Court jury convicted Kimethia Coleman last year of stabbing Brian Spinks more than 60 times at his Shreveport apartment.
She was convicted as charged of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
On Wednesday the court denied her appeal.
