AOC Community Media accepting nominations for Board of Directors

AOC Community Media, Lafayette's premier community media center, is accepting nominations for its Board of Directors until Tuesday, Feb. 28. The new board members chosen will serve a two-year term beginning July 1.

AOC Community Media's Board of Directors is a volunteer policy-making board that serves as the governing body for AOC. The Board makes policy decisions regarding purpose, functions, goals and activities.

Nominees need not have served on a Board of Directors previously. Interested nominees must commit to a minimum of one monthly board meeting held on the third Thursday at noon.

In March, the Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors will interview committee-selected nominees and prepare a slate of nominees to present the entire Board of Directors. In May, AOC members will vote on the final nominees.
